Skipper's Q-Nami Salmon w/ Noodles
Lane's Q-Nami Rub
3 salmon fillets
1 pkt ramen noodles (we used edamame noodles for this one)
1ltr chicken stock
2 cloves minced garlic
1 tsp Minced Ginger
1-2 Tablespoons light soy sauce
2 teaspoons fish sauce
Splash sesame oil
Shallots (fried or fresh)
6min eggs (ramen style)
Fried ginger sticks
Optional Toppings (Take your pick)
To create the broth simmer the Chicken stock, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, fish sauce, and sesame oil for 30 mins.
Set up your grill for direct cooking over a small but hot bed of coals. (Medium heat for a skillet or cooktop)
Cook the noodles about a 3rd of the way to packet recommendation, the hot broth will do the rest. Set aside.
Season the salmon on the three fleshy sides with Lanes Q-Nami
Grill 2mins each side ending on the skin side
Rest under foil for 5 mins.
Ladle up a bowl 3/4 full of broth, add a handfull of noodles, toppings of your choice and top with the salmon fillet.
Serve immediately and remember, slurping is encouraged!
